Defending Democracy -- Showing Up For Community
We believe government should be powered by the people, not big money. We believe in equal rights for all and that diversity makes us stronger. We stand together for basic human needs: affordable health care and housing, a living wage, and a healthy planet. We promote peace. We are Indivisible Central Michigan!
As a registered chapter of the national organization Indivisible.org, ICM leverages a vast network of local Indivisible groups to drive change. We are not affiliated with any political party. If you are concerned about the direction of our country and want to be a part of a group of like-minded people, join us in our mission to make a difference!
Email indivisiblemp@gmail.com to join. You will receive our weekly newslettter as well as periodic calls to action. We have no membership fees and will never share your contact information.
Check out this YouTube Video to get to know us! If you've been to one of our protests, you might be in it!
Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. We take action in our community, we build collective purpose, and we create change.
We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Library located at 301 S. University in Mt. Pleasant, MI. (Check the calendar below for ocassional meeting date or location changes). Our next meeting is September 24th. All are welcome!
Until the midterm election, we will be hosting political actions focusing on voting issues. Our next action is Saturday, September 19th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, on S. Mission and E. High Streets. Join us, and bring a friend!
At every meeting and Saturday protest/political action, our Community Outreach Food Drive pod will be accepting donations for the Little Free Pantries in our community. Shelf-stable food and drink items, and new personal care items are needed. We also accept cash donations, which will be used to purchase most-needed items.
Come visit with us at the Thursday Farmer's Market at Island Park - we are there from 9am - 1pm every week through the end of October.
Below is our calendar. Click any event for more details.
